Loudness

I could not find anyone else that has asked this question but if this has already been answered, I am sorry. Will loudness be directly proportional to RPM? Since most cars are quiet at low RPM and loud at high RPM, will the loudness rating go down if you make the RPM limit lower and vice versa?

Re: Loudness

I don't think this is the case, but it definitely sounds like it: human hearing is far less sensitive for low frequency sounds. So if you rev an engine it may be just as loud, but it moves into frequencies you hear better and thus, you think it's louder. :) We have not planned anything like it, no.

Re: Loudness

Well that makes sense. Thank you for clarifying that for me. :)
