differense between flatplane and X-plane engienes

Hi, can't seem to find any differenses between FP and XP v8 when building in sandbox mode. I would expect something like more responsive but less smooth FP's due to the lighter crank. But I'm getting the same stats just the nicer sound.

Indeed that is the case, and currently there is no difference yet, but will be in the revamp. Also, the Flatplane does produce a little more power than the Crossplane due to a more efficient exhaust system (resonances, etc.). The Flatplane will be less smooth and a little more responsive and lighter, yes.
