Engine/suspension Measurements

Just a quick question from a newbie,
Been looking through the videos today and noticed in the engine building power and torque were measured in Kw and Nm respectively.

Will there be an option to put this into bhp and lb/ft? As I feel it'd be understood by a wider audience, Kw just reminds me of something electric!
The same would go for suspension measurements lbs or N/m2 or whatever the metric equivalent is.
I'd have thought it wouldnt be too hard to implement if its not already there, as it'd be a fixed conversion equation. Just wondered if this was already in the pipeline? (not noticed it mentioned elsewhere).

Re: Engine/suspension Measurements

engine side we were told that the different measurements will be there.

kW is not just electric. Watt is the metric measurement of every kind of power(output).

but many ppl here in continental EU still use the PS (HP), even if both has to be in the prospects and the registration papaers, since most of the power taxes are based on kW.

All measurements will be able to be chosen in metric or imperial :)

Thanks for the replys guys! Glad to know I'll understand the engine that im building. (Although engines get even more odd as pistons, stroke etc are in mm but power over here is bhp etc. the joys of england eh!)

Re: Engine/suspension Measurements

I read somewhere that difference between bhp and hp is really small. Actually you can bypass it... ;)
Just lovin' cars, that's it!
