remove B to S limit

Can you remove the bore to stroke limit? So many more engine possibilities could be done for both high performance and fuel fuel efficient options.
Re: remove B to S limit
There are only very few post-1945 production-car engines that cannot be built because of the limits in place. The engine designer is balanced for these limits. It is a choice between:
1) Small range, excellent simulation accuracy
2) Medium range, good simulation accuracy
3) Large range, average simulation accuracy
We chose 2).
Cheers!

Re: remove B to S limit
it used to be unlimited, but the game could've been broken to get massive perfomance gains with big bore and no stroke
Re: remove B to S limit
There has always been a bore limit in Automation (the last three years at least), what broke it was stroke not changing engine size much, making it very exploitable.
Re: remove B to S limit
I would rather have all 3 no matter the accuracy at the moment. the accuracy can be adjusted. since its just a bunch of numbers, then why would it be hard to adjust to make it happen?

Re: remove B to S limit
How about having both options? Campaign Sandbox with the restrictions and a Race or Unlimited Sandbox with the restrictions removed and the bore and stroke raised to 6" since the old packard had 5" bore and 5.5" stroke.
Re: remove B to S limit
As we've said before, we can't do it without various calculations starting to suck. I don't want to have a "build things that don't generate good stats mode" to be honest.

Re: remove B to S limit
how can the calculations suck if you make up the calculations?
Re: remove B to S limit
I paid extra for everything, then why can't I build everything, even a real engine from the 40's is out of reach on this game. The unlimited sandbox mode will be for fun only, and the original sandbox will be used on the game.
Re: remove B to S limit
Lifting the limits means a lot more work on the side of the testing team, also a game is always criticized for the least accurate part.
Seeing what stupid engines you can build already, I don't think unlocking this would be a smart move. There are only very very few engines ever used in production cars after WWII that you cannot build in the game. The limits are good as they are, if you disagree, that's fine, we can't please everyone. Our decision in this matter has been explained in detail already.

But Killrob! I want to build the engine from a Rolls Royce Meteor!

Re: remove B to S limit
I said after WWII
the one you mention is from 1943. So a bad example
but I got your sarcasm.
