Car bodies - Real world History vs Automation

It's been mentioned before about having "Platform families" and body shell variants so we can create Estate, Saloon, hatch, etc of the same car.
The shells on offer so far are based on real world examples and a re currently single varieties. Once the variant features are implemented will that include (sensible) variants that never existed in the real world.

examples
The A4 B7, VAG also produced Estate and cabrio versions but never a Hatch / Fastback
The Golf Mk1 never had an Estate (but did have a saloon called the Jetta)

It would be nice to have the option of being able to produce the major variants (IMO Hatch, Estate or Saloon) of a 'normal' car, even if the model which inspired it never got them.

Yes, the families will have all variants that are reasonably easy to do, no matter if they exit IRL or not
