Is there a realistic release date for the whole game?

Hmm... What I have understood right that is too early... If the final car designer will be out late 13 I'd guess that the whole game would be close to finished Q3-Q4 2014.

Late 13 is more for the full car designer
Also: Release is when its done. We always encounter stuff that can make the dev-time longer. My Guess for a complete Car Desinger would be End October/Mid November

Full Car Designer means you build the complete car. And a complete car includes an engine. Marriage is the next step on the to-do-list, even before things like interior choices or suspension tweaking.
