Car Company Logo's and Name's

Okay so I read somewhere on the forums that players will not be able to design our own logo's. So I am just wondering will we be able to select from a group of logos already made or will the automation logo be the only one?
I also heard that when we name our company, we will not be able to put the name on the engine or car because it would be to difficult to make the letters or something like that. So my idea is to allow the player to think of their own company name and not be able to put the name on the car or choose from pre-made company names and be able to put the names on the cars. The names would vary from Italian, Japanese, English, etc. names.

Yeah, what i've read, You can't create your own logos at this point. And nor we can but badges behind of the car. Don't really know about those pre-made company names.

Re: Car Company Logo's and Name's

I understand the pain creating shades to 3d-model in fly. But it could be nice to have an option to pick a picture as a logo for car. It isn't as great as 3d logo with chrome and such but it could be somewhat a compromise to this thing. Just make a logo with paint/anything an save it as a png with transparent backround and it would fit in a car and would be better to have than nothing. I guess that this is something car designer already supports and lights/grilles/etc. are made like this. This could even be updated to support custom lights/grilles etc.

Edit. More ideas. Game could even generate somekind of automatic picture from model name with some options to be used behind the car... Maybe I would still like to make them just by myself.

The fixtures (lights, grills, etc. ) are the actual 3d models that somehow are automatically fitted onto the car body.

If so then I don't understand why it would be so hard to make custom 3D-texts for the car body..?

But when I looked the old videos from body designer you might actually be right about the grilles etc...
