brake mean fuel consumption graph

now that there is a fuel consumption graph wouldn't that make the old transmission designer easier to use ? ( if you guys are still using it)

because with that graph we can set cruise rpm to the point where the engine uses the least fuel

actually let me rephrase this:
1. are we still going to be able to use a transmission designer?
2. now that there is a fuel consumption graph wouldn't that make the transmission designer easier to use ?
