Allocating funding for outside projects?

I couldn't see this on a search so forgive me if it's already been suggested, but as part of the business side of things, will you be able to arrange things such as sponsorship of local sports events, charity donations, etc to raise your image?
How about even further to funding the construction of local kart tracks (or even full blown racetracks if you're bank balance will stand it), in order to sway the market more towards sports vehicles, etc?

I know that daffy said he wanted the player to be able to invest in motorsports (engines, racecars, money, etc) eventually but probably not at release.

As for sponsoring sports events and charities...I could see it simply being another tool of your advertising department.
