Damper/spring setup.

I'm not sure if this is on the table for later development. But if we will end up with having the possibility to see our car run on a track or something for testing purposes I think it should be important that we down the road can tweak the damper/spring setup just like we now do with the engine.

And I find that how the MadCar 3 plugin for 3D Studio Max does it is actually a nice representation of how the setings work.

Here is the example:

Re: Damper/spring setup.

That's a pretty awesome plugin. We'll probably still do our spring and damper animations in game based on in-game parameters, but that's certinally a cool plugin to know about :)

Re: Damper/spring setup.

Yea, I've had a lot of fun just playing around with it in 3ds max.

And yes, you should add it within the game of course and not an outside plugin or something like that. I would assume you would put it the same way the engine tweaking works. The visual representation in the area where you have the graphs during engine tests.
Maybe "pretty" it up a bit. ^^

its not like you would totally copy it, but I though it could work as an inspiration for you guys.
