Weight transfer during acceleration?

I know that the game includes weight-transfer effects for braking grip - is there something similar for acceleration? Can it be affected by changing the suspension settings?

Yes, weight transfer is calculated for acceleration. But suspension settings don't change wheels loads much. Only the body pitch angle is affected. But the effect on wheel load can really be neglected. Basically only the shift of the center of gravity would be relevant and is affected by the suspension settings. But as I said, the effect is very small.
