Car designer flow: Fixtures when creating new trim

Hi guys, massive congratulations on the steam release, having followed the game for some years now this is a real highlight!

I have a suggestion relating to creating a new trim for a certain car model.

When creating a new trim, the fixtures are locked. The reason I find this restricting is when creating a sport trim, naturally one would add a more sporty set of bumpers, chrome exhuasts and perhaps down-force devices to enhance performance. The only way to achieve this is to create a new model, whereby one has to try and mimic the parent model's shape and design theme which is difficult, time consuming and can end up with a sport variant that looks nothing like the base model.

If the fixtures could be changed when creating a new trim this would much enhance the car designing process. Even unlocking just the vents, grilles, wings and exhaust fixtures would provide enhanced flexibility.

Cheers!

This is indeed something that will change pretty soon :) it will even be possible to change the body variant within a group of car bodies for your different trims. Fixtures will be pretty much open again then. This is part of the last flow adjustments needed for the tycoon part.

Cheers!

Cool, that sounds like a good update! I was missing the ability to add outrageous spoilers and bonnet vents to my sports variants :D
