I'd say that adding crease lines would be possible within the modding community but they wouldn't add enough to gameplay to justify their implementation cost by the official Automation crew.
I haven't made any large scale games. They've already been asking modders about adding their bodys and whatnot to the game, why should this be any different?

If a modder makes them and we implement them, that takes a lot less time, so we would be more likely to do that.
