My suggestion is to have like possibility to form alliances of some sort to share car bodies, engines. It is like Subaru Brz,Toyota Gt86 and scion frs that are virtually identical but sold under different badges. Another example is Peugeot and Citroen.
It could lower costs and maybe add like reputation or something.

Something along this line will probably make it into the game. You can buy certain bodytypes and such from suppliers, but sharing between different companies will be hard to do but not impossible. But hey, why share bodies when you can create your own amazing body all by yourself :D?

They will be sub brands I believe, so you can have badge engineered models within your own company.

Yeah but I think he is talking about alliances, so you and me working with the exact same body one of us designed. Not the sub brand you also control yourself.

Um.. I dont understand fully. I was thinking like that for example I develop body and some Ai company makes engine and we both sell the same with minor differences.

Yeah it will only work within your company so like Vauxhall/ Holden/GM not partnerships like the one you mentioned. To use Toyota as a example the lexus es300 and Toyota Camry would be possible, but not the gt86 and brz.
