We almost got all the engine positions except the rear engined cars!
And rear engines car give more cargo space, and room that front engines car like the Classic Volkswagen Bug!

I would like to see some rear engined versions of the existing bodies.. They could change it so the trunk space calculation is for engine bay, and the engine bay calculation is for the trunk and a little bit of work on the rear engine bay..
I imagine once they actually add rear engines to the chassis options they will probably do this with a few of the bodies..
I'm not sure whats been planned, but since we are talking about rear engined cars I would like to suggest both transverse and longitudinal mounting.

After learning to drive I used to borrow my Dad's car which was a rear engined, RWD, Skoda Estelle 120. It was actually quite fun for just 40kw.
One of my mates swore never to take the pi$$ out of Skoda again.

And also there might be special bodies for the cars are you could use regular front engined bodies like the corvair.

Corvair

911
And they all have storage in the front trunk.

Better use the search function next time, Bart!

On Topic: This all will be possible as soon as the rear-engined chassis has been developed. Not very high priority right now though.
