OnLive

Hi guys,

This is my first post here, i've followed the game for some time and was a fueler on RocketHub. I pre ordered this game because i want to see it succeed.

My problem is my machine at present is actually unable to play it with the specs that have been dished out. As i'll be upgrading soon it wont be an issue for me but then Recently i subscribed to Onlive. I havnt used the service yet (purchased anything), but it struck me what a great way to get certain games to a larger group that would normally not be able to play.

So is putting Automation on OnLive something the team has thought about or would consider?

Re: OnLive

For small niche product such as ourselves, its probably not viable or worthwhile for us.

I'm afraid your only real option will be a PC upgrade, but the minimum specs are fairly low, and at least in Australia you'd be able to get a PC that would run it (2nd hand) for probably only $200 (hopefully also true in the UK)

Re: OnLive

Like i say i'll be upgrading shortly anyway so its not an issue, i just saw OnLive as a good way to reach a larger audience, it would be interestng to know how to go about setting something up on there.

Yeah, I do wonder how well it works, It doesn't SOUND like it should work very well!

Re: OnLive

playing FTL on onlive because it's the only way to try it out.

very interesting. the lag is somewhat noticeable but not really an issue, if you're used playing on an old pc, it's the same kind of sluggines.

not optimal, but you gain cross platform for free (I think)
