More bodies in next update?

Hey Guys!

I know this has been mentioned a few times but in the next update can you please include some compact, medium and large SUV's and maybe a few pick ups too? ITs kind of odd making a sports car and the stats include off-road capability lol

Please and Thank you :)

Predictably, there will be more bodies in the next update, yes :P

Re: More bodies in next update?

A suggestion for a sedan body '10: the Mazda6 2014 body (is beautyful), and the Classe S 2014 body for a large sedan.

Re: More bodies in next update?

I agree, they are both great looking bodies, there's already a Jaguar-like modern sedan planned, so I'm not sure how many other 2000's sedans are coming.

The XJ, XF, or the future XE (is a model like Ford Mondeo, 3 Series...), unlike the XF, that is a model like 5 Series, Audi A6...

There is already a large 3m wheelbase body. Its the large sedan. Maybe just need to add a wider range of morph points to get the S class look. Whats missing though are cars inbetween; there is a 2.6m wheelbase modern sedan (A3 sized) but nothing a4 or a6 sized. Might be easier to just have an adjustable wheelbase instead of a new body for each one?

Re: More bodies in next update?

The thing with trying to have an adjustable wheelbase is, it may affect the way the rest of the body looks/morphs, and may cause some strange abnormalities. It would be hard to make it work, but anything's possible.. :P

Re: More bodies in next update?

It'd probably be easier(Not to mention, less glitchy) to add a dozen bodies than it would be to make a working adjustable wheelbase system, it'd be a trivial system to add.

On a side note, will we see those bodies shown on the FB page in the customer ver. of the beta any time soon? If so...

Re: More bodies in next update?

so here's an idea for you - wheelbase morphs to a certain degree, not infinetly, say 2 inches both ways would be more then enough to add to variety

Re: More bodies in next update?

Yes, we've decided to not make wheelbase morphs possible due to the difficulty of implementing it properly. So this limitation will be something to get rid of in Automation 2 ;)

If we ever decide to make a sequel :P

So yeah, adjustable wheelbase isn't happening, it's really nasty in a lot of ways, and we've already got enough complexity on our plate.
