Chassis Types

A lot of discussion (or "WHY NO V36'S, 18 CYLINDER BOXERS OR DIESEL-ELECTRIC-ROTARY-18 WHEEL TRUCK ENGINES?" threads) happens about engine types that will be added once the tycoon section of the game is done, but I was wondering about other chassis types that could be added.

Will there be more chassis types on top of the two already in the game? What sort of time-scale are we looking at for their addition?

For example:

Backbone chassis for the early game reasonably high performance cars

Tubular spaceframe for early game high performance cars/cheap late game sports cars

I'm sure there are more, discussion welcome below!

Its quite obvious there will be more in the game before the release of Autiomation 1.0.

Yep, Spaceframe, Carbon Fibre Monocoque and Aluminum Spaceframe (Audi style) should be coming, possibly also Lotus/Aston style glued alloy monocoque.

Chassis take freaking ages to make though, because they need different versions for every suspension type and engine position. We'll be adding more much later on (around the time we add engines etc.)
