Pop-up headlights solution

I remember seeing some time ago a post where developers said that they don't know how they would implement pop-up headlamps. I have a brilliant and simple solution. You don't have to make them pop-up. Just make fixtures of closed lamps in 2-3 different shapes and that'll be enough for most fans. So what do you think?

Re: Pop-up headlights solution

Shouldnt be too hard, indeed just fixtures of the lamps close or open would be a nice idea. Though, I think they already considered this.
If you're lucky, in the last big update that comes in about 2 months maybe, they will be implemented. They planned on having the cardesigner ready (so fixtures, bodies and calculations) and then move on the tycoon part.

I'm probably going to preorder the game by then too, because I am bored of redesigning the same car over and over...

Re: Pop-up headlights solution

What's the difference between N/A and Supercharged versions of the game? (I know that the release will have an extra engine and all, but what about now?)

Right now, you get I6, V8 and turbos plus 8 (?) more body types.

Damn, yes, I should read better. :) Right now, you don't get more with the supercharged version compared to the N/A version immediately.

Re: Pop-up headlights solution

Turbocharged has now changed to Supercharged. Only Turbocharged had the Soundtrack as DLC the Supercharged doesnt? Theres a thread somewhere on what the differences were between gold, plat, super/turbocharged etc

Re: Pop-up headlights solution

No, there's no thread about that, should be added to the FAQ probably.
Silver, Gold and Platinum ranks are treated as turbocharged when it comes to content.
Only difference with Supercharged is indeed the soundtrack.
