Old To New Platform/ Next Car Designer Update

In the finished game would it be possible to build a 1990s hatchback and use the same design in 2010 for instance??? but with certain tweeks like any updates that a car would have over the years. Or have a 1940s platform and use that in 2004?

As for the car designer when is the next update and what does it include. Im hoping new body designs and fixtures, also as my laptop is not built for gaming the FXAA setting is turned off but the car designer is still pixelated

It would be possible, but it would not be really viable (except in developing/undeveloped countries).

Car designer should include more bodies (we currently have 10 in beta)

You mean, basically what they could be doing today, but don't? =D

@juliocabral - perfect! =D
Personally I'd like to see manhours and MTBF return rather than production units and reliability score of 0-100.

Moreover, over all these years of simultaneous production of Ladas and 5 Series BMW managed to make only 1/4 of Fiat 124 platform's overall production volume. This and merely minor modifications it needed throughout it's life is the best proof of how good that platform was ;).

By the way, selling outdated platforms to lower scoring CPU competitors in wouldn't be a bad idea as well :).
