Investing in races

A lot of companies have invested a lot of money in racing, trying to gain a name and actually also as a marketing stunt for their cars.
Nascar back then was racing with cars looking a lot like stock cars and they had this statement: 'Race and win on sunday, sell on monday.'

Will it actually be possible to invest or even develop parts for raceteams and, according on their performance, grow or decrease your sales and thus marketshare?

there you have about running a team. however it doesn't say anything about sponsoring a team but I would be surprised is this isn't implemented from the start.

Re: Investing in races

I'm aware of that, thanks for pointing it out.

What I am trying to say is that it is really expensive to run a car in motorsport, so maybe you can just do engine or suspension parts or the body work for example? So you get contract to research certain type of parts which need certain requirements and make extra cash out of that, which also means more marketing during races and thus selling more cars?

We'll think about that for the raceteam expansion :)
