ECU control

Will there be an option to control/tune the ECU?
I mean so you can tune an engine for smooth power delivery or economy etc...

Thats what you already do with the timing and mixture sliders.

Ok. I was just thinking that you might want to make an engine where there are several "trim levels". So one might be the base spec where it has the same components as the more powerful, but just injects less fuel to make less power or something, if you get what I mean

Yup, you could totally do that already, just make two different variants with different mixture and timing settings, they should even be able to be made on the same production line as they're mechanically the same.
