Help with real world engine!

Hi There

I have just tried to model my first real world engine. I picked one totally at random, the Mercedes Benz M136.

In trying to model this engine, I got stuck at the very first point. I can’t find an engine that will allow me to enter the bore x stroke of this engine of 75mm x 100mm

Here are the engine specifications

Engine code: M136 (136.922)
Number of cylinders: Inline 4
Capacity: 1767 cc
Bore: 75 mm
Stroke: 100 mm
Bore/stroke ratio: 0.75
Valve gear: Side valve
Valves Per Cyl: 2
Max power: 38.8 kW @ 4000 rpm
Max torque: 112 Nm @ 1800 rpm
Compression ratio: 6.5:1
Fuel system: 1 So 32 PICB carb
Cylinder volume: 441.75

Can we have the overlap between the small / medium and large sized 4 cyl engines increased a bit so I can build this real life engine?

yeah - that problem is on the list of things for the revamp of the engine designer so im told - you might just have to wait a tiny bit :)

ive come across a few engines that expose that problem - i have just had to make up numbers to get the capacity right while the bore x stroke is a little bit off - all should be fixed soon enough

You also can't replicate that one because we don't have sidevalve

So I guess I wont be able to model the Blitzen Benz?

Engine code:
Number of cylinders: inline 4
Capacity: 21495 cc
Bore: 185mm
Stroke: 200mm
Bore/stroke ratio: 0.93
Valve gear: Overhead, side-mounted camshaft
Valves Per Cyl: 2
Max power: 149.1 kw
Max torque: 353 nm
Compression ratio: 5.8:1
Fuel system: Single Carb
Cylinder volume: 5373.75

I hear it was a bit lumpy ;) ..........
