I want to start with saying that Automation is great! I liked the demo allot and cant wait for V8 and turbos to come. However, there some things I (and I think other as well) would want.

1) Cooling system. Its almost a must. Fans, radiators, inter-coolers, pipes etc. Nothing to advanced, just being able to select: small or big radiator/ IC, with fan or not. (the fan should rotate in engine designer, I love the rotating parts ) With good cooling system you will add to total weight and cost, but also increase the lifespan of the engine.

2) Pipe material. I would love to be able to choose between ordinary rubber and silicon pipes to the cooling system. (yes I want blue/red silicon pipes) Silicon = costs a bit but better lifespan.

With radiators you could also choose copper or aluminum one being more efficient at certain points in time compared to the other.

A nice idea. Don't think that it would be that much more extra work in modelling and programming, when you have the radiators already in the game. And it would appeal very much. But then again, I'm not good at programming or 3d-modeling so I might be wrong

Oh yes, I forgot one thing to add. There should be a battery in the car. A small detail, but still important

Radiator sizing and placement will be chosen in the car designer, as you'll need to try and work out where to fit it/how to get airflow to it. If you run a radiator smaller than the engine requires it'll reduce reliablity

Wow that's great! So we will be able to freely adjust placement of our components That must be hard to implement into the game. But of what I have seen so far I'm sure you will get it done.

We'll see how well it goes, but Zeussy has prototyped a system to dynamically build piping, so that should help

does that mean that the piping would follow the radiator and adjust automatically or ?
