Car emblems and badges

Just a quick suggestion.

I think you should have a set of badges for identifying the litre capacity of the engine, the layout, and the number of valves.
Also maybe a set of lettering, for example EX, LX, SE, GT, GTS, and etc..

or better yet, just have a little function so you could type out the name of your car, eg. Honda Accord, and it would give you a little badge you could place on the car.
and as for the engine layout you could just type that and it would produce a similar badge you could place as well.

just a thought.

Perhaps a very simple mspaint like thing to enable you to design your own brand logo?

Being able to add something like a text box on your car and pick from a several different fonts/effects would be nice and simple. After all, how can we make 80s cars if it doesn't have TURBO! plastered all over it

Yeah I'm curious how deep the designers could go with Hood Badges and Trunk Designations. Could be something easily editable say in MSPaint (someone said above) and used like a .gif or bitmap. I would definitely like to see the GL, SE, etc stuff.

I hope that this will be implemented but I think they should let us choose from a few basic shapes and fonts.

At minimum we should have sets of badges for common designations and features like "GT" "Turbo" "16 Valve" etc. in a bunch of different styles. If we can work out a good way to do it, we'll take it even further

If you add "Turbo" and "16 Valve" badges, I hope you will be able to have more than one badge per car

Yeaaaah. Hood Bades, Rear Trunk (Left and Right Top Corners?), possibly the side panels (TURRRRBBBOOOOOOO), and if we get a little more ambitious maybe emblems on the Hood like the old Firebirds.

not trying to steal the thread..... but maybe what you name your car could have a slight effect on how it sells......like if you name it vulgarly it wont sell as well as something more appropriately named.

All these are great ideas guys. I hope we will see some car naming and emblem maker in the game
