Dual screen

Considering the game has these loose-knit windows, will it support a second window?

Re: Dual screen

The guys developing the game have a extra screen or 2 running on there computers and the plan is to have it supported.

Re: Dual screen

Eyefinity/Triplehead2Go, yes - normal multiple monitor setups, no.

I have it running on 3 x 24" monitors @ 5760 x 1080 with eyefinity and it works fine, gives plenty of space to have lots of different windows open ingame :)

Re: Dual screen

Hmm, like RailWorks then (where I have to set a single 3840x1200 desktop spanned across the two monitors) - a bit of a pain really, faffing about with setting it back and forth for normal use.

I'm not really sure my 5870 can handle that very well anyway, so I tend to game on one monitor anyway... To be honest, I think so few people run multi monitor setups it's not worth game developers' time and effort. Fair enough :)

Re: Dual screen

Yup, and so few people use non Eyefinity multimonitor setups for gaming as only a select few games (like Microsoft Flight Simulator) support mutli monitor without using something like eyefinity

I am one of those who use non Eyefinity multimonitor setups... But I don't really care about Automation not supporting it, a 21' screen is enough. I only use both screens to play flight simulator and to work (photoshop, indesign...)

Re: Dual screen

It's ATI/AMD's fault really for making it so fiddly to switch back and forth. I might use it more if it were better implemented - It remembers my Eyefinity set-up, so I can switch to it easily, but when it comes back out the desktops are reversed and the resolution sets itself to 1080p for some bizarre reason (and I have to run with my monitors plugged in this way round because Mac OS won't let me reassign the primary monitor and it treats the 'left' monitor as primary with the monitors plugged in this way.)
