Yes, quite obvious, I would say.

Re: Multiple Companies

If I were going to emulate any game for the tycoon side of the game i'd look at railroad tycoon 3 probably. it needn't be as complex, and there's a simple stock system, loan system, and the ability to buy out other companies and assets. :)

Having said that, are the devs looking at other tycoon games for inspiration for a model to base the tycoon system on? Which games are they looking at?
Personally I'd like to see manhours and MTBF return rather than production units and reliability score of 0-100.

Re: Multiple Companies

How much opponents will be available? 200 like in gearcity or 10-15 like in most games?

Re: Multiple Companies

I think up to 8 AI players seems decent enough for me. its gonna be quite hard enough with 8. Imagine having 3 or 4 going for cars to be produced for the masses (multiple targetgroups and such) then 2 for somewhat less mass targetgroups and the rest going for niches. Would be hard enough for you to get your market share!

I would rather prefer loads of enemies at start, but after some time most of them would be boghout by other companies, like in real life.

Re: Multiple Companies

I think 12 would be a good number or like 20 if they don't all start at the beginning but sort of slowly crop up as the years go by
