Like said on Live Chat earlier.
I'll just make a post about it!

Licence / Patents system.

It would be cool if my company "Volwo" came up with, lets say seatbelt tensioners and Piezo inline injectors, i would be able to licence out the technology as long as my patent lasts.
Then I have to balance my R&D and my car factorys economics which would increase the difficulty. It could be a difficulty setting.
What would be more beneficial? Building by licence OR licencing out tech to other companys and building without licence fees? Again, that depends on how much experience you have missed with focusing on R&D.

Any input / suggestions?

I like this idea. Gives the user/player the option of ethier heavy R&D for the newest tech then making money if the tech takes off, or spending almost nothing and doing with what has already been produced, could cost more but will allow for populer techs to only be used.
