Throttle Plate Animation

Hi there,
I noticed this a while ago and it bugs me a little bit and I don't know if it was mentioned before (searched for throttle valve/plate and carburettor)If it missed it, just link me to it, please.

So the thing is:
The throttle plates(butterflies?) on the throttle valves don't open. You can floor it, but nothing happens. I'm not very familiar with the mechanics of this, but surely something has to happen^^
Would it be possible to add this little bit of refinement in future?
In theory its rather simple, but i know that animating anything takes a metric ton of time, especially when it is bound to some triggers, well just how far you pedal the metal.

No major concern, because you only see it on the racing setups, otherwise it's covered, but it would add to it^^

Yours

Re: Throttle Plate Animation

Heyya!

This is already on our To-Do list. :) With the level of detail in other parts of the engine designer, the lack of this feature definitely is to be considered a flaw. We'll include it as soon as we have some time for it.

Re: Throttle Plate Animation

Please note that the throttle on dyno stays fully open and the change of RPM is made by braking the engine :)
