Part Failures in Engine Tester

Hi guys,
First post for me, I've really enjoyed the game thus far and look forward to the next set of features you give us to play with.
Don't know if this has come up before, sorry if it has. I have one suggestion, its one off those little things that nags at me in game, I was wondering if you might consider changing the colour of parts dieing of RPM limits to maybe blue or something. That way it would just be a case of looking at the colour to know if it was an RPM failure or a torque problem.
Thanks again.

Good point, although that might be difficult to realize because both warnings can happen at the same time. The warnings should hint at what type of stress is killing it, even though that's not very precise.

Re: Part Failures in Engine Tester

Could have two separate charts for each, or maybe a % indicator for part wear to indicate failure out beside the colored effiency indicator.

Not that my two cents matter, I'll be buying and playing tonight. I'll chime in again afterwards. :)

Re: Part Failures in Engine Tester

Maybe in the case of both failure types you could split the part vertically so that say the left half shaded a blue colour for the RPM and the right shaded yellow through red for torque failures. It was just a bit of an idea not really the end of the world.
