Yes it is - make sure its running unleaded fuel - as long as thats true you should be ok, but there IS a bug with cats sometimes.

Posted: Fri Apr 13, 2012 5:58 pmOk, found out what the bug is - when you first go to the Fuel System, under Fuel Type, Regular Leaded is marked grey, but not checked. Even if you check other type of fuel, Regular Leaded will keep grey; you have to check it, making the grey selection go away, and then check an unleaded fuel to make Catalytic Converter available.

I just confirmed this. Same situation for me. Once I clicked Regular Leaded the highlighted gray text went back to normal and catalytic converters were available.

Posted: Sat Apr 14, 2012 9:11 pmi at first thought this was a big but it is not....you're changing an old engine into a new one... hence it will have leaded fuel checked as it is old...you have to uncheck it and check unleaded as part of the process

As I said, leaded fuel was not checked on mine.
