How to unlock the locked presets?

Wanted to make a high performance version of a econo car I was making but it won't let me change the locked presets. How do I unlock it? Thanks!

More detail would help, such as which presets.
Some are locked on purpose and cannot be unlocked,e.g. The family elements of an engine.

I was thinking the body parts and things like headlights etc.

I guess the next big question is, are you making a new trim on an existing eocono car? If so, you can't unlock body parts. Not yet, at least. You will have to create a new model to do that. They are supposed to be releasing an update which will allow more freedom in trim level customization, but it isn't out yet.
