I am working on my 1988 line up and I want to introduce a small FWD Golf/Focus/Civic style hatchback and every body I like won't accept a bore over 70mm. Is there something wrong with my version of the game, am I doing something wrong? I have built a couple engines already that should realistically fit that are inline with another engine family, 1.4l and a max bore of 80mm. I want the engines to be able to rev so I don't want to stroke the heck out of them just to get some displacement. I will keep searching the board, but any help so I can understand would be helpful.

Do you use Double Wishbones at the front? They require a lot of space. If yes, try MacPhersons.

Its a transmission issue at the moment and will be worked on later I believe, try different bodystyles for now, some are able to fit.

Thanks, Der Bayer I will give it a shot. nialloftara, I noticed that, it looks like they took the rwd transmission and just turned it sideways in the engine bay :/

Yeah, and also they don't scale in size according to the size of the engine.. I hope this is fixed soon so I can build some proper Saab-like cars

IIRC they do scale, like the transmission in all other applications.

But yeah, they are still a tad too long. IIRC they said they will probably just squish the model a little so it fits better.

Be Honda, stroke the heck out of them and make them rev anyway.
