So I've tried to create a LeMans type of a car using the LeMans body.I have put on it a rather big but reliable engine with lots of power. When I move to the Trim section and especially to Gear ratio adjustment I put the slider that much so that the car can produce more than 400 km/h final Top Speed (427 km/h to be specific). But when it comes to the testing of the car the game crashes. When I adjust the overall speed below 400 km/h things work fine! Can anyone help please???

Tire size? Have been known to bee a problem with high power/narrow tires.

Tyre size is large enough.325 front - 345 rear.

Does it hang up, or does it crash to desktop with an error window? Or does it not just run the test track and/or results page? What happens if you tick the gear ratio to a higher top speed than the 427km/h?
Hangups and fails to run could be a few things. CTD should give you an error message to tell you where to start.

Indeed it crashes to desktop and comes up with an error message, the one with Control+C to report.A calculation error I suppose????And yes, it still crashes if I raise the gear ratio for an overall top speed above 427 km/h.

Does the car provide any downforce? Sometimes the error happens when a car has more lift than it weighs, aka it takes off, thus crashing the game.

Well the calculation error will give you some information about where the problem is to be found. I would probably have to agree with Leo that you might need to add downforce. If it CTDs at anything above 400km/h then it isn't likely the gearbox glitch (which I think was corrected anyway). I still wouldn't completely count out the tires being the problem either. Those are wide tires, but profile also has a lot to do with the possible tire issues.
