Hi

I just bought the game and the Campaign mode is not available yet.. its ok, isnt it?

It could be ready when the game is totally completed? When it will be? And what it the concept of Campaign mode?

I mean, I see the Car designer and engine designer and both of then are cool.. but I read a "Company tycoon" and for me this is the most interesting concept of the game, managing a car company from the begining, building cars and engine, into a multiplayer world...

So, the Campaign mode will be like this?

I read all of the FAQ questions before I wrote my post and generally I read all of the most similars post about my question, dont worry about this, but Im still confused about this concept: "CAR COMPANY TYCOON"... so can you explain me my first post please?

No problem!

There is no "Campaign" yet because it hasnt been developed, so as of now you can only build your engines and cars. The Tycoon part will pretty much be exactly how you described it, you will select your region (and I assume time period) and play from there, building your cars and selling them across the world if you so choose. Multiplayer is a bit different right now and (last I heard) not working until after the patch AFTER the Steam release so dont worry if it is not working right now.

thanks for your time... have you got the features of the Campaign mode? or the mechanic of this concept? and when it will be released (aprox) Im from Argentina Im waiting for a game like this since Detroit.

There has not been too much information released to us yet, it is far to early in the development of the game at this time, once the Car Designer is "finished" then they will move onto the Tycoon portion of the game, they have also not committed to a set release date (which is good IMO, hardly anyone ever makes those these days anyway) but with the very open communication with their fans I do not think that will be much of an issue, we will "see" the game develop as they work on it.

What I DO know is that the campaign will consist of the time period of 1940-2020 (hard coded, this can not be changed) in various regions of the world, there will also be events "scripted" as they truly happened ('70s oil crisis etc) and I think a mode without such scripted events (or random), as of now though there is not much info since there is not a lot of work being done on this part if any at all. We will all know more once they start working on that segment. With that said please look into this viewforum.php?f=39 forum for our own community made "games" and "challenges", you compete with everyone else that submits their designs in races or reviews.

Great.. do you know what is missing from the car Designer or engine designer to be finished both of them?

The next update on March 12th will add most of the major features remaining for the car and engine designer. There will be still a lot more content missing (car bodies, engine types etc.) though. But we'll start working on the Tycoon side of things soon after that update hopefully. Then come back and add more content.
