If you go to their Youtube channel, you can see all of the Little Dev Updates, but the next major patch is not scheduled for release until March.

Yep, https://www.youtube.com/user/AutomationGame is the best place, we post detailed videos of what we've done and what we're working on next. We don't give dates much though, because we've learned we're no good at predicting how long things take.

Aww March now? It was "a couple of months" months ago :( .
Not at all complaining about the way the devs do things, since I've been here the approach is very much "You can't rush quality". It's just a bit double-edged, the game is showing so much potential now that I NEED a "full" version soon :D .
Automation is easily going to log the amount of hours that I've spent on games like TES and the Civilization series - a massive achievement for such a small crew.

Now I just need to find a way to care but not care, just need to sit still (as some poet once paraphrased) ;)

Yeah, the current patch is all getting rolled into the one big "Make it all pretty and nice for Steam Early Access" release. Hopefully if that does well we can hire some extra people to push harder on the full game :)

Re: Checking up on next patches etc?

I really believe the steam early access will do wonders for this game and help development of this game a lot!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how many car guys will get in on the game as soon as they see it on steam. I know if I seen it I would buy it in a heart beat... just like I did almost two years ago now, and I was playing the game long before I took the plunge and bought the full version and joined the site. Watching this game develop over the years has been a slow process, but Id rather you guys take as much time and make a quality game ( which you guys are doing a superb job of BTW ! ) then rush and wind up with a broken rubbish game. I paid 30$ I believe, and never once have I ever thought to myself, " man was that a waste of money! " . every day this game just gets better and better, and now that we have the ability to freely mod the game it just makes it so much more enjoyable.

I am happily awaiting this new update!

Re: Checking up on next patches etc?

One question though.

Will there be "free drive" in the game eventually?

Like the Street Legal series. Could be awesome.
