Just practicing a bit for the rallye. how do you think i'm doing?
Any suggestions for improvement?
I currently have a 1.8l i6 with about 350 horsepower, all built in 1992 of course.

Nice, tried myself to do it and did a 4 cylinder 2,7l but maybe turbo is the way to go :P Also pretty weird i had like 250hp but still got the airport track in about 90sec?

Well, i can get through airforce in about 80 seconds with this engine, but that's with a lot of downforce, so the top speed is like 190km/h, and i think that could ruin the fast stages of the rallye

But yeah your doing good! Also how did you get AWD? I could not choose that? Maybe it has something to do with the suspension

You should be able to choose AWD on pretty much any car. That does not have anything to do with the suspension. It's i probably you engine placement. You had it put to traverse, not longitudinal, which would make it difficult to fit a gearbox and differential. So to get AWD or RWD you need a longitudinal engine placement :)

Making your car RWD/AWD would probably cut about 5-6 seconds on the airfield track, you would pretty much eliminate all understeer

Making your car AWD will greatly shorten your 0-60 time, because it will get rid of most of the wheelspin and give you more grip.

With 250Hp and a FWD car, i think the wheel spin is the least of your worries. The amount of under steer on just about any corner would make you either take every corner extremely wide or you would have to go really slowly trough them.

Actually, it has to do with suspension. The rear suspension must be a type other than torsion beam, if you want to drive rear wheels too. Well, the torsion beam is available only with traverse engine placement, so that's why you might have thought this is the factor.

So yeah did AWD and fiddled with the cambers and knocked a couple of seconds off :) Only problem is that i also did a about 400hp 1,8l but somehow the game always crashes when i put it in any car?

I see that you are working with the 1354 build though, if you upgrade to 1358, and patch it, the bug will probably dissapear

Please use a smaller stroke and more RPM or a smaller turbo. Please. :) That power"band" is not really useable.

Well, the build year of the engine is supposed to be 1992, not 2014 :P Just pointing that out in case you hadn't noticed.

Yeah im not the best at building engines and was kind of tired when i did it but in the test track it usually only does the higher revs so does it matter that much? But just for the future should it be the opposite so that there would be a "constant pull" or a gradual? Now its kind of "sudden wtf" when your driving :D

EDIT: Espenses oh damn, i made one exactly the same but when the version changed its MTFB value had dropped to 8k so just did it again and i forgot it :D Yeah im starting to get a bit tired..
