Cars: 1998 Ferd Exploder XLT V6 SOHC 4.0L. Same as OHV, but with three timing chains and two timing cassettes. Rubbish.

The Police Cruiser Challenge!
The year is 2013, and the Big Three are once again competing for market share amongst the US's policing agencies. You are a smaller start up who wants to bring your own car to the table. This task is to design a 2013 MY cop car.
Basics: Car must have 4 doors minimum, and you cannot use the 2.05m style body, as its too small. Any 4-or-more door body is applicable., and all quality sliders should be at 0 in car designer mode. As the motor pools mechanics are lazy and the boys in blue like bumping into things, car must be based on a ladder chassis, as this allows easier replacement of side panels. Car bodies can only be painted in Black, white, beige, or dark blue. Tires used are Hard Long life road. Standard interior with no entertainment (BYOR, bring your own radio) 100 KM/h to 0 must be done within 50 meters. Single clutch, six gears.
Only limit to engine design: The motor pool mechanics are smart, and have a lot of toys, but detest twin turbos. No twin turbo designs may be submitted.
Exterior Design: Cars SHOULD be either “unique”, aggressively styled, or sleeper styled. In other words, Dodge Charger Pursuit vs Ford's CVPI vs your wild and crazy imagination. Design is, unfortunately, subjective, but not all things in life are math and measurements.
Judging:
Vehicles will be judged on a variety of features, basic ratings such as Comfort, and Safety will be measured using provided stats page.
Overall cost matrix: cars will be compared based on cost of body materials (very low-very high will receive numbered ratings) as well as engine cost to build + (manhours * 15), MTBF, and annual maintenance. The ideal cruiser will be low cost and require little, low cost maintenance. Engine must be economical as well, as MPG will also factor in.
Exterior design (as discussed above).
Speed: That test track that happens to be similar to the one in that British car show. That will be used to compare lap times in various cruisers. Also, 0-100KM/h and quarter mile times will be tested.
Out of 100 points, vehicles will be judged, break down of points:
Unless otherwise noted, points are assigned based on gradation, with lowest score and highest score being endpoints, and std. Deviation determining point value.
Costs: 40 pts
Body costs: Man hours, tooling, materials: VL L A H VH 0-4, lower numbers represent lower cost. Worth: 10 pts
Engine CTB, (costs + (manhours * 15)) Worth: 10 pts
Maintenance and MTBF Worth: 10 pts
Mileage Worth: 10 pts
Safety: 20 pts
Comfort: 10 pts
Exterior: 5 pts
Based on judges own lack of objectiveness. May incorporate other judges if tied.
Speed: 20 pts
Geared test track, worth: 10 pts
0 to 100 KM/h worth: 5 pts
¼ mile worth: 5 pts
Braking distance: 5 pts
Trials are held 4/14 – 4/28, all contractors are welcome to submit one (1) model. If you ask first, and its approved, you may submit one (1) revision to the existing model. The Winner will be announced week of 4/27. As well as the biggest loser. Accolades will be given to both, as history tends to remember the greatest and worst engineers of our times.

*EDIT* Fuel type should be 87 RON or 91 AKI, as officers are liable to pump whatever they feel like into the cars. Submit files in private message please!
