AHS Steel

What is AHS? searching online reveals nothing. is it high-tensile steel? that's what most new cars are made from these days (term used in NA)

I think it may be an alternative name for carbon steel, but don't take my word for it.

Look up Advanced High Strength Steel. That is what it is.
