Sample Engines that work

There should be some sample engines that work, I am not a car guy but I am interested in this game. Each time i try to create a engine it fails, I got one message stating "The car can only cool at 0.0 hp, your engine has exceeded this" it does not even give a clue to what to do. I went to the engine manual and not a clue there also. A few sample engines and a more friendly user interface would be helpful.

Sounds like 2 separate issues...

1. The easiest way to build an engine is to build one as close to real life specifications as possible. Plus, the tutorials are designed to explain the various engine components and how they affect the engine.

2. The car body needs grills and vents on the nose to allow air to help cool the engine.

3. Attached are 2 sample engines for you to mess with. And no these are not built to real-life specifications, I just made them up... (add files to the "Documents\Automation\Engines" folder)
