The demo is downloaded directly from the website. I have Windows 7 pro 64-bit hardware quite powerful.

Hi Guys, this problem is usually caused by a corrupted install of the game.

Uninstall the game, run the "Automation Cleaner" tool from here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1271 - then reinstall and it should be fine.
