Combinations
Posted: Sat Apr 30, 2011 10:53 pmI wonder wich combination is the best. I like Wankel engines like used in a Mazda RX7 or a boxer in the Porsches... but maybe there is a better combination possible.

One of my plans is for front mounted boxer engines, Transaxel gearbox and RWD.
Im not sure its been done before, but I want to do it!

boxer with a AWD combination.
boxer with another combination (RWD for example).
V engine (V6-V8-V10-V12) with a FR combination.
V engine (V6-V8-V10-V12) with a MR combination.
Wankel with a FR combination.
@Drake: I like the idea of a transaxle boxer.
Good thinking, would be a nice alternative to the classic layouts.
