(Possibly) Useful Info

Hi Guys,

I've just watched the new video of the MacPherson Struts, and with youtube not letting me post links in comments for some reason I thought this would be a decent place to post. Please move this if I've put it in the wrong place.

I thought this may be useful for you: http://web.archive.org/web/200502072222 ... _Geometry/

It's lots of pictures and diagrams with a few graphs thrown in for good measure, and all based on VW A4 chassis codes, ie mk4 golf, but the principles should be the same for any strut.
It might not be greatly helpful with the numbers side of things, but the explanations are very clear and concise.

I think they originally went with posts in the thread below, but I'm not certain. Again, there's a fair bit of reading there that may or may not be helpful, I can't really say as I don't know exactly what you're doing (and I'm not sure I want to spoil the surprise!).

Hope this helps,

Though completely unrelated to Automation, this information is actually really useful for what I'm doing right now! Thanks!
