Tips on a creating an I4 running on unleaded?

Hello,

I'm trying to create an I4 engine that runs on unleaded fuel, but I keep running into knocking problems. Does anybody have any tips on how to prevent engine knocking when using unleaded fuel?

Lower the compression ratio.

Thanks for the help guys, I was able to get my engine running on unleaded. Yay! I wasn't able to make my engine exactly the way I wanted. VVT's aren't in the demo, correct?

Also using more advanced fuel delivery ie: multiport electronic fuel injection will lower the RON required.

I only saw mechanical injection, I'm guessing that's because I'm using the free demo.

Have you checked your tech year slider? Someone please help me demonstrate this.

there's a technology year slider in every tab. It defines what technologies become available. By adjusting it towards the future, you can unlock better technologies.
