Posted: Sun Jan 06, 2013 6:16 amSPFI is penalised in this scenario and limits lifespan because it is a very early application for that fuel system. In order to get more lifespan out of it, I'd advise you to choose a fuel system quality of about 7-8. If you then face cost problems, you could switch from SOHC to DAOHC, which will also make the engine lighter. You'll lose some power though.
