Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

Hey guys, anybody succeeded in the topic scenario? I can`t figure out how to make more than 300 hp from naturally aspirated 2000cc engine with redline at 8500!

Platinum is possible, we know that, but I must admit I've never got it myself! :P

Re: Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

Well, in the case you show you have built a "realistic" race engine that would be good to drive, but that is too realistic for the scenario :P You definitely need a higher cam profile setting, that should sort things out :) try to peak it (second peak in the case of VVL/VVT) right before the limiter and you'll get it.

Well... you are using race intakes... so no wonder you can't get it high enough! Choose performance filters and you will be fine.

Re: Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

I'm completely lost at how to increase responsiveness. The fliweight is already at minimum, and I'm just at 84/110 :?

Re: Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

Well, you can always take a look at the Let's Play video I made showing how to get through: http://youtu.be/laEyYJeK7fE
I assume you are missing VVT, which helps the responsiveness quite a bit.

I just started playing the Demo tonight :D

I got 1 point lower than you, with 1 more horsepower and a whole lot less torque haha :)

Re: Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

Slightly more torque you mean ;) can't make more power with less torque if it's at the same RPM.
Also, I guess that's what you'd call a screenshot :D Cheers!

Re: Scenario "Super 2000 Rally": HOW?

Oh I just noticed that our units are different haha.

Well I was having a problem trying to screenshot, it would come out as just a black screen, so I had to do it that way :P
