Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

I have had some intermittent issues with the fixtures not flipping. I click to flip them and nothing happens, even after resizing or completely removing and reinstalling.

Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

Have you tried moving them to an area with lots of space around before flipping them? Just drag them somewhere with space around, flip, and drag them back to where you wanted them to be. If there's not enough space, they might not want to flip.

Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

Bug with higher RPM engines in the model designer, if you use the slider for top speed in MPH up the game will crash with Automation Launcher has stopped working.

The speed where it crashes looks to be random (between 220 and 379 mph the last 2 times) does not matter how many gears you have.

Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

ran across a bug while selecting engines for the largest engine bay body shell. Got the message "engine too big too fit". V-8 with dimensions of 559mmx452x589 (about 600hp) when I changed engines I accidentally switched to a larger 571mmXx462x601 (over 1000hp) but did not receive the it wont fit message and could continue

Well, I found that if you put vents over grills you gain cooling capacity and you can put endless amounts of those long thin grills on top of each other for more and more cooling. And none of the cars are big enough for my 3600HP beast so I had to downsize it.

So there you go!
Cheers!

You mentioned tutorial scenarios working - do you want to know about any of the others not working? I've had a couple bomb out on me.

The last one was "millennium Crash" I'd selected a V8 and when I choose aluminium the I get an Lua Error
'Step() failed!: [string "..."]:87 attempt to index local 'blockEndPos' (a nil value)

Just wondered if you had a list of known broken scenarios.

That would be pretty cool, I'm gonna have a run through the scenarios in a little bit to see if I can find anything wrong and log them. If you can post up any you have already noticed it would save a good bit of time. :P

EDIT: No worries man, found out which ones it is now.

There is no color, it's grayed out because it's not an option :) Yes, it is confusing! xD

Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

Would it be possible to make that colour gray/silver? Because the other 2 colours for gray are horrible. especially the chrome one haha

Yeah, we don't have a proper metallic paint yet sadly, but eventually :)

I don't know, but is this a glitch? How can the tyres suddenly grip so much more?

Re: Performance Testing Update Bug-Report Thread

That's looking weird indeed. What are the specifications of the engine (power curve)? Which drivetrain layout do you use (my guess is RWD)? How is your gearing set up? Dynamic weight distribution can make tires grippier, but in this case it is looking quite odd.

Maybe you can just share the engine, platform and model files with us so that we can check.

Same happens with many other special characters. I'm not sure but I tried this with few. Maybe question mark and exclamation mark..?
