How did you find us? I was looking for a game similar to Detroit, and I found a link to this forum on the Detroit's wikipedia page

About: 23 years old, a car lover since day 1... My dad told me one day that at the age of 5, when we were on road to vacation, my favourite game was to say the name of all the brands and models of the cars we met...
I have lot of expectations in Automation, the game has great potential, as there is lot of car lovers all around the world. I told about your game to some friends, and everybody seems to be very interested. It's the dream of lot of people to have the possibility to create his own car, with his own design, his own engine...

Re: Introductions

Name: Ady Durn

Age: 26

Occupation: Software Quality Assurance

Location: Dublin (Originally from the UK)

Interests: Cars (especially small engined european sports cars), Computers (fully owned up geek here :geek: ), physics, travelling, history.. the usual stuff.

Cars owned (in the past): My instructors car was a Nissan Micra, but the car I was driving most regularly was a '88 Nissan Bluebird 1.8, which I then drove after my test. MY first car, however, was a Honda CR-X 1.6i16 (very similar spec as the Si, but had anti-lock brakes instead of aircon). After that went chest-skyward (previous owner hadn't looked after it and the bottom end disintegrated doing 90mph), I got a Rover 214 convertible (I know, but it was damned cheap) and a Civic 1.4i. We've always been a car family, I helped my Dad rebuilt the engine in his 1500 Spitfire several times. Am without a car currently, i sold it to move to Dublin and cars here are so expensive I actually have nightmares of handing over several years worth of savings to get a beaten up old minicab.

Dream Garage: First off, the DMC De'Lorean, then the usual suspects, AC 427 Cobra, Triumph Stag V8, Jaguar XJ220, TVR Cerbera Speed 12 and finally, Land Rover Defender 90 (similar to Lara Crofts one from Tomb Raider)

How did I find you? I've been watching for a month or so, for rather evil reasons... I too was disappointed that there have been only 3 proper car biz-sims ever made, Detroit, Car Tycoon and Motor City(Oldtimer). So I was working on doing exactly what you guys are doing now... fortunately I hadn't got far when I saw how well you guys were doing, and how much of a better job than me...!

Re: Introductions

Name: James Turner

Age: 18

Occupation: Hopefully a student next year studying Motorsports management and logistics.

Location: Warrington, England. ( Originally London! )

Interests: All motorsport, Especially F1, NASCAR, Indycar and BTCC. Sim Racing, physics, space, cars, that sort of stuff :p

Cars Owned: None, Because insurance is ridiculous. £9000 for a 1993 VW Polo? I dont think so.

Dream garage: I'm a huge honda fan, so it'll have to be the S2000. I love the 4 cylinder scream of vtec at 9000RPM! I also
like the R33 skyline, type R civic (EP), and the veyron :p

How did you find us? : Through Race Sim Central.

About: Not much really, i'm Admin on a mainly ps3 racing clan called TheRacingElite. I also love sim racing, but at the moment, I dont have a
wheel stand, or enough money to keep iRacing. Hopefully i'll be going to study Motorsports management and logistics foundation degree, if
my college sorts my results out in time!

Hey, that falcon builder is a neat idea.

I had an EF GLI for a while, but I got bored of driving an auto and swapped with my parents for their lancer. (falcon is now LPG and still going at about 420,000km so far)
