Must have official Automation T shirt.....
The Lantis does have a cool engine noise, that car has aged beautifully well.

And this one is the "insignificant" video in the grand scheme of things... that is why Matt put it up this morning already. Wait till you see the really good stuff :) we have some million-view candidates!

Cheers! :D

I think it lost something in translation, but guessing it roughly means you're excited and can't wait :-)

Re: TheSmocking tire video is up !!

"I'm frying in my own curiosity" is needed in the English language. I like that :P

And million views on Automation related stuff would be awesome, but imagine the inevitable influx of 8 years old

I can definitely live with a million 8 year olds who pay 25 bucks apiece, think of just how well-deserved the revenue would be!

Of course, and I don't think many 8 year olds would get to grips to this game very well to be honest :P

There are two of the reasons both of these organizations picked this opportunity!

Yeah, the proper pretty looking videos take 30hr or so of editing each, so they'll be a month or so away.

Re: TheSmocking tire video is up !!

I wanted to comment on this since I saw the smoking tire facebook posts but there wasn't a thread here.

I think this was great. Big fan of Matt Farah, been watching his videos since garage 419 when he looked like a douchebag. He grew alot and this new one take videos of him driving "shit" cars shows that. I think a true car enthusiast must be able to appreciate every good detail of the cars even if that good thing is in a shitbox.
For me the best cars are the ones the owners took tare and made it to something enjoyable. No point in owning a Ferrari if you don't even know anything besides that it goes fast. I could go on about this subject.
Back to the colab and how it influences the game. I don't know much of what was done yet but this certainly helps with the word spreading about the game. But you, developers, have to be aware that this type of marketing hypes the game. You have to live up to the promises. You you take another 5 years to get the tycoon ready people that came because of the marketing will lose interest and forget about it. Or worse. Go on about how the game was crap and nothing like they told them it would be. And no matter how good is your marketing, if you don't deliver what was promised you will lose the community and end up with just a bunch of fanboys(which right now comprise 70% of the community).

Yes, we are aware of that. We are focusing on marketing what the game can already do, more than what it will do.

The plan is also that the marketing and Steam release will make us enough sales to hire some more people.

70% of the community just a bunch of fanboys? I don't even know what you're trying to say there..
