The ability to build families and groups of cars and engines. A new interface flow and live updating calculations every time you make an adjustment once your car is complete (huge help). Tons of user-contributed bodies and fixtures. Heaps of user-contributed tracks. Steam release was quite recent so tournaments are just starting to take off again, but Der Bayer is running a new kind of live simulation tournament using an original system, go check that out too, it's huge.
